The Carp In 4 Cancer charity event has become an annual carp fishing
competition entirely run by likeminded carp anglers for other carp anglers.
The aims of the C4C team are to raise funds for Cancer Hospices that are non
government funded, meaning they rely on donations.
The idea came about because of the death of a family member, from witnessing the
brilliant care and consideration from the hospice, Paul Allin, decided there was
a way to help the hospices from his pastime of carp fishing.
The 1st event was in 2007 and has been growing ever since with over £18000
raised so far, not bad for a bunch of fishermen
